281-CARE / 988 Crisis Hotline
The 281-CARE / 988 Crisis Hotline is a 24-hour service dedicated to providing immediate support for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Whether you're dealing with a psychological emergency, marital or relationship conflicts, bereavement, or other personal challenges, our hotline offers essential mental health services and crisis prevention support. Our team is trained in suicide prevention and can connect you with the appropriate resources and referrals across Talbert House.
If you or someone you know needs emergency mental health services, call 513-281-CARE (2273) or text TALBERT to 839863 for confidential assistance any time, day or night. We are here to provide the guidance and support you need during a mental health crisis.
We offer a dedicated Veterans Hotline at 513-281-VETS (8387). This specialized veteran's hotline is designed to address the unique needs of veterans, offering crisis intervention, information, referrals, and suicide prevention services tailored specifically for the veteran community in Hamilton County.

Childreach
Childreach is a specialized program offering early intervention and mental health services for children aged 0-5, focusing on the prevention and identification of childhood behavioral issues.
This program works closely with families and childcare providers to enhance the social and emotional development of young children attending early childhood or home-based childcare centers.
Childreach promotes healthy emotional growth and prevents future challenges. Our team provides training and support to childcare centers, ensuring children's mental health services are integrated into their daily routines, helping young children build the skills they need for a successful start in life.
Community Link
Community Link is a welfare-to-work program designed to support Ohio Works First (OWF) recipients in their journey toward employment and self-sufficiency. This initiative provides coordinated services to help individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area secure jobs and achieve long-term stability.
Community Link is a collaboration between Talbert House and Easterseals, with additional partnerships including Crossroads and Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health. By working together, we offer a comprehensive network of support to help individuals overcome barriers to employment, access essential resources, and successfully transition into the workforce.
Our program empowers participants by connecting them with Cincinnati jobs and providing the necessary tools and support to build a sustainable future.
Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP)
The Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP) is designed to support individuals aged 14-24 who are within 200% of the federal poverty level. This program provides comprehensive services, including case management, referrals, and barrier removal, to help participants progress along an education or career pathway.
As the lead agency, Talbert House collaborates with key partners such as Greater Cincinnati Urban League, Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency, and Easterseals to deliver these essential services. Together, we work to ensure young people have the resources and support they need to achieve their educational and career goals.

Community Outreach Prevention & Education (COPE)
The Community Outreach Prevention & Education (COPE) program provides essential school and community-based prevention services that address a wide range of critical issues affecting individuals and families.
COPE offers education and support on topics such as coping skills, anger and conflict management, behavioral problems, child abuse and neglect, depression, drug-free lifestyles, family violence, grief and loss, relationships, mental health education, parenting skills, stress management, suicide prevention, and substance use.
Whether in schools or community settings, our prevention services are designed to meet the unique needs of each audience, promoting well-being and positive change across the Greater Cincinnati area.
Fatherhood Project
The Fatherhood Project helps men become responsible, committed, and nurturing fathers. This program supports dads in strengthening their connection and involvement in the lives of their children by offering a variety of resources, including classes, co-parenting and individual coaching, and fellowship support meetings.
Through the Fatherhood Project, participants also gain access to essential services such as legal, employment, and housing assistance, empowering them to overcome challenges and build a stable and supportive environment for their families.
We provide fathers with the tools and support they need to positively impact their children’s lives and foster strong, healthy family relationships.
Hamilton County Youth Employment
The Hamilton County Youth Employment Program (HCYE) is a year-round youth employment program that supports individuals ages 14-21 identify career paths and connect with employers offering long-term career opportunities. This program is designed to help young people overcome barriers to employment and successfully enter the workforce.
HCYE provides a range of services, including assistance with completing micro-credentials and other training through Earn & Learn activities. Participants also receive support in finding part-time jobs for minors and exploring various career pathways. Whether you are looking for summer employment or a more permanent position, the Hamilton County Youth Employment Program is here to help you find the right job opportunities.

Prevention Services for Clinton and Warren Counties
Prevention Services for Clinton and Warren Counties develop strong, resilient individuals and communities. Grounded in the public health model, these services equip people with the attitudes, behaviors, and skills necessary for personal well-being, satisfaction, and resilience.
Talbert House collaborates with community partners to create and strengthen conditions that ensure safe, thriving communities through strength-based approaches and evidence-based, culturally aware models.

Victim Service Center
The Victim Service Center assists victims of crime and their families.
Our services provide support and guidance during challenging times. We assist with paperwork, compensation, and court advocacy to help victims navigate the legal process. Our team also provides information and referrals, ensuring victims have access to the necessary resources.
In addition to these services, the Victim Service Center offers crisis intervention counseling, prevention and education programs, and support groups to help victims and their families heal. We also conduct home visits for senior victims and provide personal advocacy to ensure everyone's needs are met with care and compassion.
Workforce Development
Talbert House's Workforce Development program is designed to meet the workforce needs of businesses in Greater Cincinnati while supporting job seekers in finding meaningful employment. We assist employers by providing them with qualified and dedicated employees who are not only productive but also aligned with the employer’s mission and goals.
The Employment Services team is composed of trained Employment Service Specialists well-versed in current employment trends. They work closely with individuals to assess their strengths, needs, preferences, and desires, helping to develop a personalized plan for success in the workplace.
Through our Workforce Development services, we bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, ensuring that both parties achieve their goals and contribute positively to the community. These Community Care services are funded in part by the United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
