Duke Energy Foundation to Power Cincinnati Communities With $25,000 Grant to Talbert House

CINCINNATI – Talbert House received a $25,000 grant from Duke Energy Foundation to create powerful communities in Cincinnati through workforce development for returning citizens. Talbert House is one of 22 organizations in Ohio and Kentucky to collectively receive $390,000 in grants from the Duke Energy Foundation.

This grant supports clients living in halfway houses with vocational services. Talbert House clients will receive assistance in job searching, resume support, interview skills and job coaching to find and/or maintain employment.

“This grant from the Duke Energy Foundation supports clients in their transition into the workforce and their goal of achieving financial stability,” says Tiffany Thomas, Vice President of Talbert House Community Care. “The Foundation is connecting potential employees to the workforce while supporting local businesses recruiting staff.”
