Talbert House Raises Over $160,000 for Camp Possible
CINCINNATI – Talbert House’s annual Make Camp Possible event raised over $160,000 to support Camp Possible, a therapeutic summer program for children coping with mental health challenges. Held on November 22 at Ivy Hills Country Club with a Western theme, the event welcomed nearly 200 guests. Thanks to the generosity of donors, more than 80 children will have the opportunity to attend Camp Possible next summer.
Camp Possible provides a safe, structured, and stable environment when school is out of session. Campers participate in traditional and non-traditional group therapy sessions and learn skills such as anger management, self-esteem, peer relations, and more. Because over 96% of the children who attend Camp Possible are low-income, there is no cost to attend.
A special thank-you to our Presenting Sponsor, The Jackie and Roy Sweeney Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, along with Gratitude Sponsors Fifth Third Bank, Ed and Joann Hubert Family Foundation, and Williams Foundation, and Respect Sponsors Myriad Genetics, John and Nancy Silverman, Robert D.
