Jessica Powell Joins Executive Team, Rachel Faris, Blayre Worley, Karla Wilson named as Directors

CINCINNATI - Talbert House would like to welcome Jessica Powell, Rachel Faris, Blayre Worley and Karla Wilson to their new roles. Jessica joins the Agency as Vice President of Housing, Blayre has been promoted to Director of Court Treatment, Karla has been promoted to Director of Quality and Compliance and Rachel has been hired as Director of Human Resources.

Jessica joins Talbert House as the Vice President of Housing, bringing 20 years of experience in affordable housing and community development. Previously, Jessica served as the Vice President of the Hamilton County Land Reutilization Corporation at The Port and as Chief Counsel at the City of Cincinnati’s Law Department. Jessica earned her juris doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. In her expansive career, Jessica has worked to improve neighborhood quality of life through affirmative litigation and strategic advocacy.

Rachel joins the Agency as Human Resources Director. Previously, Rachel served as the Human Resource Director at Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss. Rachel is SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified with a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Kentucky. With 20 years of Human Resources experience in the professional services industry, Rachel is a strategic communicator who works to build and retain talent, creating the best work environment.

Blayre began her career at Talbert House as an intern in 2007 and was subsequently hired as a Clinical Service Provider. During her tenure, Blayre has lead Day Reporting, Integrated Services and the Engagement Center. Blayre attended Northern Kentucky University and earned a master’s in Social Work. With a background in substance use treatment for individuals in the criminal justice system, Blayre brings clinical and operational leadership to Talbert House’s Court Treatment services.

First joining Talbert House in 1999, Karla was hired as a Case Manager and went on to serve in multiple roles throughout the Court and Corrections service line. While developing new skills in her different roles, Karla was also able to expand her education by completing her master’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University and became a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. As Director of Quality and Compliance, Karla connects her passion and skills by working behind the scenes to assist staff in offering quality care in a safe environment.
