Talbert House Honors Maureen Kennedy as Employee of the Year

Employees Recognized as Outstanding in Each Service Line

CINCINNATI – After serving over 26,000 clients face to face and an additional 134,000 through prevention and hotline services in 2021, the Agency showed appreciation to the team of over 800 employees and recognized five Outstanding Employees from across the agency and honored Maureen Kennedy as the Employee of the Year for 2021.

Maureen began her tenure at Talbert House in 2005 as a Clinical Services Provider. She has served in a variety of roles over the 17 years with increasing responsibility and impact. Currently, as an Associate Director in Addictions Services, she manages integrated services, day reporting and mental health day reporting ensuring clients across the organization have access to quality mental health and addictions services. Over the past two years, Maureen collaborated with the Courts and Corrections service line and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections to implement virtual groups for incarcerated clients across the state ensuring access to treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also recognized as Outstanding Employees of 2021 were Derrick Bryant – Court and Correction, Aly Fox – Mental Health, Vincent Palmer – Community Care, Erika Rakel – Central Services and Whitney Wesner – Housing.
