CINCINNATI – Talbert House dedicates the fourth Freeda Kay House with support from the Cohen, Holt, Michelman and Shifman families. Located in Clifton, the residence is comprised of six two-bedroom units designed for women and their children to live in a safe, supportive environment.

Following the vision of Phil and Lois Cohen, the first Freeda Kay House was dedicated in 2014 and named for two strong women, Lois’s mother Freeda, and Phil’s mother Kay. Each of the four houses provide a place where women who have been victims of trauma and domestic violence receive the support they need to live independently and feel safe. The Cohen Family remains committed to establishing affordable housing for women and their families.

According to Talbert House President/CEO Neil Tilow, “The Cohen, Holt, Michelman and Shifman families have provided a legacy of hope and generosity that spans 3 generations. They are truly an amazing family.”
