Annual fundraiser benefits therapeutic-based summer camp

CINCINNATI – Join Talbert House for a roaring good time at the Newport Car Barn on November 18, from 7-10 p.m. for an annual fundraiser benefiting Camp Possible. Camp Possible is the Agency’s therapeutic-based summer program for children coping with mental health challenges.

The theme this year is ‘wild about camp,’ and tickets include grazing stations, two drinks, valet parking and a donation to Camp Possible. The event will also have live music, games, a raffle and an online auction. To learn more and purchase tickets, visit talberthouse.org.

Camp Possible provides a safe, structured and stable environment when school is out of session. Campers participate in traditional and non-traditional group therapy sessions and learn skills such as anger management, self-esteem, peer relations and more. It costs over $2,000 per child to attend camp, which includes the cost of activities, fieldtrips, meals and transportation which are unfunded. Because over 96% of the children who attend Camp Possible are low-income, there is no cost to attend.

Thank you to Diamond Sponsors Fifth Third Bank and Jackie Sweeney and Platinum Sponsors Mrs. Robert D. Stern, PsychPros, USI Insurance Services and the Williams Foundation along with many others for making this event and camp possible for so many children.

For more information, contact Jenna Toon, Events Coordinator at (513) 751-7747 or Jenna.Toon@talberthouse.org. To purchase tickets, visit talberthouse.org
