Council on Child Abuse
Since 1978, COCA has been committed to and focused on the prevention of child abuse. COCA has a tradition and reputation for providing effective programs to over 600,000 children and adults focusing on primary services that prevent harm to children.
Through the individual and collective efforts of professional staff and volunteer leadership, the agency continues to strengthen and refine its programs and services to effectively meet current and emerging needs. These services positively impact the children, parents and professionals served each year.
Focusing its efforts on strategic planning to guarantee the sustainability of COCA’s programs for the community, COCA's Board of Trustees made the decision to become an affiliate of Talbert House in October 2015. The agency's name and programs remain the same and we look forward to the many new and expanded opportunities this affiliation will provide.
